California SB 1383 Compliance

In order to reduce methane emissions stemming from food waste in landfill, California Senate Bill 1383 established residential organic waste recycling and commercial food recovery requirements mandating jurisdictions to provide organics recycling service to all residential generators and businesses. Jurisdictions and food establishments are also required to implement food waste prevention programs to divert edible food. BSP can assist with educating food producers, developing donation prrograms and recording results.
